I aim and democracy.
The title it will be a tantino banal, but it is the first one that has come to me in mind and tant'è… I have intentional to try the former Democracy player, today Aim, on Opensuse 10,3 and I must say that its reputation anything but is immeritata, is truly an optimal one player, but not only. In fact besides reproduce rows audio and video, through its comfortable interface, web based, 
- to try the video from the main sites of video sharing (youtube, google video, dailymotion, blip.tv, revver, blogdigger, mefeedia, yahoo);
- to make a subscriber apodcast video to us;
- to visualize video in HD;
- to head directly for the URL of the video portals streaming in order to directly enjoy them to us through the player.
I aim is a appllicazione written in python of which the packages compiled and of fedora are found, ubuntu and debian, not of opensuse, however we can launch it from finishes them from the ./run.sh rows that are found in…./Miro- 0.9.8.1 /platform/gtk-x11/ and to enjoy the show to us. Prerequirement are the python dev, libavahi-qt3-1, pyrex.

I have tried to start I aim on mine openSuse 10,3, after to have installed the dependencies that you have suggested, but unfortunately they finishes does not start it saying:
Can't find xulrunner-xpcom, mozilla-xpcom or firefox-xpcom
They are not successful to find these packages on no source of installation…
Since to you it works, you can verify from where you have installed them these packages?

It installs the package pkg-config and you execute pkg-config - list-all, thus you will have the information on the packages and the necessary bookcases to the execution of configure and make. However to eye and cross the package would have to be mozilla-xulrunner.

the package mozilla-xulrunner it gia' I had installed and unfortunately with pkg-config they are not successful to resolve.

at the end I have found the package 1-Click install on openSUSE Build Service (http://software.opensuse.org/ymp/home:FunkyM/openSUSE_10.3/Miro.ymp)
