Interesting, sin that is based on the distro heavier of the world… that is SuSE. Not to misinterpret not OpenSuSE hatred indeed, has been my first distribution, memory to me still the smell of when for the first time I opened a confection of the mythical SuSE Linux 6,4 (7 CD). At that time I was little more than a baby, YaST 2 was still a mirage and KDE 1 muoveva its first steps on Xfree86, not memory the version, but I know of in order certainly that kernel the 2,2 as soon as had exited.
beautiful times true?
Today they are one of the many customers ubuntu, in all these years I have tried of all but unfortunately I must admit that my SuSE decidedly has become a little too much heavy and complex… they are content however to see that still uses it to someone, I will more often read this blog just in order to see as more Teteska evolves the chameleonic world of the distribution that us is… even if today ehm… it is American…

I do not have nothing against ubuntu, indeed I judge it a large one distro, thus like Sabayon as an example; moreover creed that the choice of a distribution is a enough subjective thing and inerisce to the closely personal tastes of the individual. It is clear, in fact, than it does not exist the distro perfect, ognuna it has pregi and defects. It is true that Opensuse is somewhat heavy, but is at the same time powerful and stable, and, with the last one release, it has succeeded to reduce, if not to cancel, the gap of yast regarding apt with the introduction of 1-Click install.
However the argument is somewhat interesting, for which I invite to you to mail on yours blog (a lot interesting, I put link in mine blogroll) an article in which us it explains the reasons of your preference for ubuntu.
In order to conclude, change often distro because before recensirle on the blog I try some to them on mine notebook therefore not I have a fixed one, while on desktop the use still windows for the famous compatibility problems (nearly resolved, I hope) of my sapphire ati radeon x1550.
