Nothing easier; it is necessary to install on your Ubuntu box a software that is called pixelize. It succeeds to subdivide the image in a composed rectangular grill from small areas that come analyzed, and replaced with images chosen from a database.
The installation on ubuntu gutsy is that classic one: I sudo apt-get install pixelize.
In order to construct our mosaic, we must choose the images, construct ours database executing from root the commando make_db nomeimmagine1 nomeimmagine2…, launch pixelize, set up the preferred options, at last a beautiful one click on rendering.
