- From finishes typing they apt-get install squid.
- To open gedit /etc/squid/squid.conf.
- To find the TAG: visible_hostname and to add visible_hostname <hostname> where <hostname> it is the name host of the computer.
- To control that door HTTP is set up to 3128.
- To save and to close.
- To type adduser squid and to specify a password.
- To type /etc/init.d/squid restart.
- To stop I torture with /etc/init.d/squid stop.
- To test the service in debug mode typing squid - z (creates the cache).
- To type squid - NCd10.
- To open Firefox to the address localhost: 3128.
- If all it is to place to exit from the way debug with CTRL-C.
- Launch /etc/init.d/squid star.
- In order to shape Firefox with squid going on Modifica->Preferenze to cliccare on Advances.
- Rete>Impostazioni and manual Configurazione of the Proxy. In Proxy HTTP, to insert localhost and on door 3128.
