The community of Cinelerra has decided to rewrite this splendid software for the video editing with a new one codebase. Giova to remember that because of the dissidi between Heroine Virtual (the mysterious group owner of Cinelerra) and the community of sviluppatori that give 1990, through the constant production of patch and fix, have contributed to the product development, from the 2003 this last one has decided to maintain own copy of code HV (Heroine Virtual) and to transport it on Cinelerra-CV.  The division between the two branches of the development of Cinelerra divenne still more obvious the slid summer, after that the community it put hand to a riscrittura of the code that, to feel Hermann Vosseler of the Cinelerra-CV community, implies a change of such direction to justify the name of Cinelerra 3. Vosseler supports that HV is not disposed to participate to this effort and that however the approach of the software remains valid, but is not possible to re-use the old code because of its structural deficiencies. We are still in an embryonic phase, and, considered that the task is enormous and demands experience in the system of transformation programming, video and audio, in the writing of critical parts of the code (C , the medium level is however object oriented), the community is trying sviluppatori that they have the technical competences for being able to join to the plan, in order now carried ahead nearly exclusively from the single Vosseler.
