It is as soon as be released the new version of wine 0.9.55 with important innovation on the plan of the Direct3D, the emulazione of driver, a beginning of support to OLE in Richedit, sistemazione of some bug… Obviously tuxmind it has quickly tried it.

On Ubuntu Gutsy:

  • wget - q http://wine.budgetdedicated.com/apt/387EE263.gpg - Or | I sudo apt-key add - (for the public key);
  • I sudo wget http://wine.budgetdedicated.com/apt/sources.list.d/gutsy.list - Or /etc/apt/sources.list.d/winehq.list (addition of the repo to list APT);
  • I sudo apt-get update;
  • I sudo apt-get install wine.
