In some post precedence I have already spoken about the Phoronix test to you suite, also in rather lusinghieri terms, I make reference to the article “Phoronix test suite” and to that successive “benchmark of tuxmind” in which I introduce the result of the test on my PC. 
We were still to version 0,2, little more than a month it makes, since the version nearly preistoria as soon as released it is the 0.7.0. This last one contains an important series hardly changes regarding the version which released precedence a ten of days ago, quite 40 between new tests, ability to aggregation of the result, and support for types of abstract result. P.S. Beside the tarball there is a comfortable package precompiled for the Debian/Ubuntu customers. Good test!
