Probably it is a wrong formulation in the configuration of I telephone or the applet bluetooth because from me it works splendidly.
I take advantage myself of a chiavetta external from 9 euros and of a HTC P3600 with over win mobile.

gnome-vfs-obexftp_0.4-2~ppa2_amd64.deb

Hello, I have a similar problem with a Nokia 6630, I succeed to send the rows I am from PC-cell that cell-PC. But if I want to explore the device bluetooth me exits an empty window (without the cartelle of the memory card and the cell) also has installed the package that has suggested 2nick! Mha… the strange fact that with exactly the same one celluare Ubuntu 7,10 worked, but 8,04 not…

thanks for your suggestion but the problem remains. Infact blueman is only to bluetooth manager and it works using obex that is, in my opinion, the reason of my problem.

it cannot be accused ubuntu for the bug of obex-give-serveur (in charge of the impossibility to leaf through resources symbian) and of bluez-utils (for the lacked operation of cllegamneti net and seriali, in the version debian sid)
the alternative would have been that not to insert gnome 2,22 in hardy, thus conserving gnome-vfs instead of gvfs, and maintaining the old packages of bluez.
insomma, it would be due to make to be born a lts with a desktop already old.
the problem has hit anch eme, but it cannot be accused canonical of problems that derive from the sviluppatori of a pair of packages. it will be enough to attend that the sviluppatori of obex-give-serveur and bluez arrange the things (for obex-give-serveur and navigation symbian already has been publicato a fix, wanted it to who and knew can compile to make it from svn)

I have installed gmobilemedia, but I am having some problem with the logon to mine samsung, something like: “your phone model is not supported”. I have tried to shape gammu but the problem remains. As soon as I will have resolved I will return on the argument. Meantime the suggestions are accept always well.
