500000 hits for the clone of Microsoft Project
OpenProj, the clone open source of Microsoft Project, has been unloaded more than 500000 times. To say it is Marc O'Brien, CEO of Projity, the company that sponsors the plan. The administrator supports that the plan boasts customers in 142 countries, than many important companies already has expressed itself in favour of OpenProj and some, which the Bank of America, Hewlett-Packard, General Electric, IBM, Siemens, Toshiba, Honeywell, Nortel, quite have already unloaded it and installed; moreover the members of the community have already translate it in a dozen of languages.
OpenProj reads and opens plan rows, a function that renders the migration from a plan the much easiest one, and has the advantage to turn on Linux, Unix, Windows and Mac CPAL (Common Public Attribution License Version 1,0).
