Phoronix test suite 1.0.2 the benchmark of tuxmind
In the day yesterday, 28 june, has been released version 1.0.2 of phoronix the test suite of which I had already mailed in enthusiastic terms (Phoronix test suite - the benchmark of tuxmind - Phoronix test suite 0.7.0), obviously with a support, new series features to opensuse 11, three new profiles of test and some fixes. The download it is to this address (is also the precompiled package Debian/Ubuntu), while for the use of the main commandos I send back you to mine post Phoronix test suite. In this context it presses to me to emphasize like the amount of the tests is increased, us of they are 61, and, above all, the extreme ability to this suite of benchmark of modulating the tests based on the single test or to a suite, that is to with of tests grouped for areas; as an example audio-encoding, video-encoding, gaming, multiCore, pcqs-processor and thus via…
In order to singularly execute these tests it is necessary to posiziionarsi in the directory in which PTS (Phoronix Test Suite) it has been installed (in the event of the package deb /usr/bin) and launch the ./phoronix-test-suite commando benchmark audio-encoding, changing last the two words to varying of the tests (es. video-encoding, gaming…). To this address you can find the 61 tests, are grouped here for suite while on PTS Global it is possible to send the result. Good divertimento!
Does not come you wish to try? I have made it and here some screenshots of test that I have carried out with PTS 1.0.2:
