K3b 1,95 svn on Kde 4.1
I said of the great applications that still lack to kde 4 for being truly complete and performante. One of these is k3b reached the version of development 1,95 that I have supplied to compile. I try to fly over on the rows .bashrc and the dependencies of compilation because already abundantly dealt in more post precedence and step directly to the phase of compilation anch'essa constructed to the usual way, but, obviously, of this are held to giving to account (various the post would not have sense):
Prerequisiti:
apt-get install libkcddb-dev-kde4 libavcodec-dev libavformat-dev;
Installation:
svn Co svn: /anonsvn.kde.org/home/kde/trunk/extragear/multimedia/k3b multimedia/k3b;
cd multimedia/k3b;
mkdir it compiles;
cd it compiles;
cmake - DCMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX=$KDEDIR - DCMAKE_BUILD_TYPE=debugfull. /;
make;
make install.

As certainly you will know exists, in turn for the net, a remarkable amount of guides on the compilation of kde 4 from svn, but nobody, at least that I know, explains like qualifying the effects desktop of kwin; generally, when the System window is opened settings-->Desktop it is found to us of a desolating forehead to “Compositing is not supported on your system.

To compile itself compiles then but masterizza?
I have tried some ago and not masterizzava null week.

You have reason! I have compiled before the vacations and of it I have not tested the discounted operation giving it for in virtue of the good resolution of the compilation. In fact not masterizza! We will wait for new developments…

excused, for a neophyte: I wanted to install Kubuntu with this beautifulst graphical interface Kde 4,1 but if I have understood it is not possible to masterizzare nothing? then that I make, I must remain with windows since for me to masterizzare is fundamental?

Simply the k3b does not work compiled from svn, but kubuntu it sure has already its beautiful working version of k3b less recent but.
