Now not there is more need than to compile, but, and we are already to the version beta 1, have been created of the comfortable packages for several the Ubuntu (Feisty, Gutsy, Hardy) of this extraordinary Media Center multiplatform (available for Windows, Linux, Mac, XBox). The three great innovationes:

  1. new skin “PM3.HD” of default on Windows, Linux, Mac, while the customers of Xbox can choose it between those available ones;
  2. XBMC Live, a cd bootable in order to try Media Center without to modify own system, easy installabile on chiavetta usb;
  3. the release for Mac it has the support integrated to iTunes and iPhoto.

More complete information can be reperire to this link, while for the installation on Hardy enough to insert in /etc/apt/sources.list the following lines:
deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/team-xbmc-hardy/ubuntu hardy main

The backward motion of Mozilla.

Less evil that from time to time the opinion of the final customers of a product comes taken in consideration. If then the issue introduces also “an ethical” background beyond that practical the thing cannot make other that pleasure. Remembered “notiziona” of some day makes second which on Intrepid Firefox would have had a beautiful EULA to equips? Well in Mozilla they are shrewed of the gigantic completed error and have backtracked.

Mitchell former Baker CEO of Mozilla has recognized the mistake and has announced that the EULA will be abandoned because incoherent with the values of the customers of the Linux communities that are not accustomed to see such agreements. Personally then I find myself in discord with “its maestà” Shuttleworth which supports that in the end it is an acceptable compromise also to enjoy Firefox, because if a software is free does not have need of contracts, otherwise is a various thing.
